Recognizes the N-glycosylated glycoprotein of 120 kDa with intra-chain disulfide bonds, identified as CD50 or ICAM-3. CD50 is the major ligand for LFA-1 (CD11a/CD18) and may have signaling role to increase adhesion. It is expressed on thymocytes and T lymphocytes and is resistant to treatment with phosphatidylinositol (PI) phospholipase C.

This monoclonal antibody is specific to estrogen receptor alpha (ER alpha) and shows minimal cross-reaction with other members of the family. ER is an important regulator of growth and differentiation in the mammary gland. Presence of ER in breast tumors indicates an increased likelihood of response to anti-estrogen (e. g. tamoxifen) therapy. It strongly stains nuclei of epithelial cells in breast carcinomas. S100A4 belongs to the S100 super-family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding domains. S100 genes include at least 25 members, including S100A1-S100A18, trichohyalin, filaggrin, repetin, S100P, and S100Z. S100A4 exerts its function via direct interaction with a number of proteins including P53, P63, non-muscle myosin IIA, α6β4 integrin, and liprin b1. Biotium MUC5AC (Mucin 5AC / Gastric Mucin)(2-11M1), CF647 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
This MAb recognizes the peptide core of gastric mucin M1 (recently identified as Mucin 5AC). Its epitope is located in the N-terminal cysteine rich part of the peptide core of MUC5AC, which is heavily glycosylated. Its epitope is destroyed by beta-mercaptoethanol but not by periodate treatment. MAb 2-11M1 reacts with the protein backbone exclusively; it only reacts with fully deglycosylated MUC5AC. Therefore, the material under test should also be fully deglycosylated. This can be achieved with standard periodate oxidation method. The success of the deglycosylation can be checked with routine PAS (Periodic Acid Shiff) staining. After deglycosylation, the preparation should no longer be stainable with PAS reagent. Only then 2-11M1 will react should MUC5AC be present. In Western blotting, this antibody reacts with two bands of ~MW of 210 kDa and 300 kDa, identified as two isoforms of Tenascin C. S100A2 belongs to the S100 family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100A2 may function as a modulator against excess calcium accumulation in normal human mammary epithelial cells and also have a role in suppressing tumor cell growth. Recognizes a protein of 30 kDa which is identified as Prohibitin, an evolutionarily conserved protein with homologues found in yeast to man. It is located in the inner membrane of mitochondria. Although prohibitin mRNA and protein expression occurs throughout the cell cycle, maximum levels are detected during the G1/S phase transition and minimum levels are seen in S phase and the G2/mitosis boundary. Prohibitin is located exclusively in the mitochondria with the highest concentration on the inner membrane. Prohibitin is an ideal mitochondrial marker. LSP1 is a hematopoietic-expressed gene that encodes an F-actin-binding, leukocyte-specific (including B and T lymphocytes, granulocytes and macrophages), phosphoprotein. Complement C1q A Chain (C1qa) is a subunit of C1q. C1q is composed of 6 polypeptide chains each of C1qa, C1qb, and C1qc. C1q is a component of the classical complement pathway, and thereby plays an important role in the immune response.
